So I'm a big fan of Eminem for a long time and I am one of those people shouting "Eminem is the God of Rap" or just similar phrases. This thread is for anyone who knows him, either like/love or dislike/hate him.

Even as his fan (not a Stan), I didn't feel great about his last albums and surprisingly a lot of people were "uhmm" as well BUT, he is back folks, and in full force and he is proving again he is a lyrical genius and it feels like he is murdering everyone, especially all the mumble rappers (which frankly I had no damn idea there were so many...).

The list of people that he murdered:
    - All mumble rappers
    - Charlamagne
    - Ja Budden
    - The Akademiks
    - Tyler the Creator (apparently they were cool until he did a stupid thing shittalking Em on Twitter)
    - Earl Sweatshirt (I still have no idea who this guy is, I've read about the others I didn't know but this guys, still unkown to me. Probably will remain that way)
    - The Grammys
    - Drake
    - Lord Jamar
    - Machinegun Kelly

    I hope I didn't miss anyone

Damn by this point I wanted already to section everything and talk in detail about everything. I'll post every song in particular and break it down and give my honest opinion about every verse. For now expect the 'Fall' , 'Lucky You' and bonus 'Killshot'

    Slim Shady's back everyone

I like emniem and hes good but thats only because he has a special type of rap. More like pop-rap rather than just rap.
In that category hes the best, but not certainly the best out of all rappera.

So as primised (took me a very long while, I know) here's the first one, Fall.

Down here will be the lyrics alongside my commentary. Also note, my commentary might be more subjective and just the way I feel it. Also, for the sake of reducing the lenght of the post, I'll delete the chorus part in the lyrics.
    • My commentary
    • Lyrics

    [Intro: Eminem & Justin Vernon]
You know, everybody's been tellin' me what they think about me for the last few months
    It's too loud
Maybe it's time I tell 'em what I think about them
Can't hear it coming down the /stairs from the parking lot
    It's too loud
Freeze my crown all up in it, slow fire

// Eminem's line is pretty straightforward, this being the start of the reply for everyone that had something to say about him.

    [Verse 1: Eminem]
Gotta concentrate, against the clock I race
Got no time to waste, I'm already late, I got a marathoner's pace

// He knows he took a lot to respond to critics
Went from addict to a workaholic, word to Dr. Dre
In that first marijuana tape—guess I got a chronic case (yeah)
And I ain't just blowin' smoke, 'less it's in your momma's face
// He used to be a drug addict and got clean after an overdose and then became a work addict as he shout outs to Dre who was known for his work ethics, striving for perfection.
I know this time Paul and Dre, they won't tell me what not to say

// His mentor Dre will not hold him back at all after all the deterioration in the rap scene.
And though me and my party days
Have all pretty much parted ways
// His drug addict 'moment' is deep in the past
You'd swear to God I forgot I'm the guy that made "Not Afraid"
// Don't know what to say about this
    One last time for Charlamagne
If my response is late, it's just how long it takes
To hit my fuckin' radar, I'm so far away
// #killCharlamagne . I still have never heard of him before this.
These rappers are like Hunger Games
    One minute, they're mockin' Jay
Next minute, they get they style from Migos, then they copy Drake
// How the rappers nowadays cannot come with something original and just copy Jay-Z, Migos and Drake
Maybe I just don't know when to turn around and walk away
But all the hate, I call it "Walk on Water" gate
// Don't know again, shame on me
I've had as much as I can tolerate
I'm sick and tired of waitin', I done lost my patience
I can take all of you motherfuckers on at once
You wanted, Shady? You got it!
// He has had enough at this point and his old-style, the Slim Shady style, is back. This is also that they mainly criticised him when he became just Eminem and not going around dissing and bashing everyone. In this Em believes they brought this up upon themselves. (this moment, his rage and his follow-up killing spree)

    [Verse 2: Eminem]
Somebody tell Budden before I snap, he better fasten it
Or have his body bag get zipped
The closest thing he's had to hits is smackin' bitches

    // Kill count = 1
And don't make me have to give it back to Akademiks
Say this shit is trash again, I'll have you twisted
Like you had it when you thought you had me slippin' at the telly
Even when I'm gettin' brain, you'll never catch me with a thot
Lackin' with it, "he ain't spittin' like this in his last shit"
    // Kill count = 2
Ho, you better go back and listen
// "You better go back and listen" is a refference to a line from his song "Walk on Water" (from Album Revival, the one that got heavily criticised) as he believes he is understood (maybe that was the beginning of the mumble rap era aka trap rap as I like to call it).
You know me better, thinkin' I'll slow or let up
// Reminding that he is not planning to quit anytime soon.
Call it trap 'cause it's a total setup
Hopin' that you rappers fall in that
// Wishing mumble rappers respond to him because it's a trap. Why it is a trap? Because anything they would say would downgrade them even further.
Dre said, "Hold your head up!"—Kathy Griffin
Stackin' ammunition, slap the clip and cock it back on competition
This is how I shot ahead (pew)—Gabby Giffords
    // I'll skip this one
My attack is vicious, Jack the Ripper, back in business
// Reffering to how deadly he is as destroying any other rapper in the field and that he is "back in bussiness" with this album.
Tyler create nothin', I see why you called yourself a faggot, bitch
It's not just 'cause you lack attention
    It's 'cause you worship D12's balls, you're sack-religious
If you're gonna critique me, you better at least be as good or better
// Literally obliterating Tyler the Creator because of a tweet he made about his song "Walk on Water" saying it's horrible, after collaborating and expressing his total admiration towards him publicly. Also Kill count = 3
    Get Earl the Hooded Sweater
Whatever his name is to help you put together
Some words, more than just two letters
// Two things happening. Telling Tyler to get help from Earl to write anything and also not saying Earl's name correctly represents how unimportant he is to Eminem, and if Tyler is below Earl... well you get it.
The fans waited for this moment like that feature when I stole this show (ha), sorry if I took forever (haha)

    [Verse 3: Eminem]
Just remember, I was here before you
And I'll be here after you make your run-in for you

// Eminem is in the industry for more than 2 decades
Detract this, I might have to fuck Pitchfork with a corkscrew
    // Pass
    Just what the doctor ordered
    Revenge is the best medicine
Increase the dose, unleash the most
// Refference to his song "Rap God" in which he says about himself that he is "what the doctor ordered". What doctor ordered? Slaughter
And then tell the Grammys to go and fuck themselves
They suck the blood from all the biggest artists like some leeches
So they nominate 'em, get 'em there, get a name to 'em
See the show, every parasite needs a host (haha)

    // Kill count = 4 ? More?
Then give Album of the Year to somebody that no one's ever even heard of
// Related to the previous one
All I know is I wrote every single word of
    Everything I ever murdered
Time to separate the sheep from goats
And I got no faith in your writers, I don't believe in ghosts
// He wrote every single one of his lines and didn't have anyone write for him, unlike others, proving again he is The Goat
When rap needed it most, I was that wing in the prayer
A beacon of hope, the B-I-R-D in the air
Somewhere some kid is bumpin' this while he lip-syncs in the mirror
That's who I'm doin' it for, the rest I don't really even care
// Last 2 are self explanatory for all of them. I love this part
But you would think I'm carryin' a Oxford dictionary in my pocket
How I'm buryin' these artists, on the scale it turns to minus
// He has the biggest word count in the whole music industry. Before his albums 'Revival' and 'Kamikaze' he had 8,818 unique words used under his belt. Woop
Mines is various as hardly and what's scary is you prolly
Can compare me to your car 'cause I'm just barely gettin' started
// Comparing himself to their dysfunctional cars as he is barely getting started but already murdering them.
And as far as Lord Jamar, you better leave me the hell alone
Or I'll show you an Elvis clone
Walk up in this house you own, brush my pelvic bone
You should telephone and go fetch me the remote
Put my feet up and just make myself at home
    // Kill count = 5
I belong here, clown, don't tell me 'bout the culture
I inspire the Hopsins, the Logics, the Coles, the
Seans, the K-Dots, the 5'9"s, and oh
Brought the world 50 Cent, you did squat, pissed and moaned
But I'm not gonna fall… bitch!

    // Killing him again.

This was actually more tiresome and time consuming than I believed it would and I have barely scratched the surface. Anyone tell me if you want me to continue with this, or give me an insight or something about it. Otherwise I'll just post for my own sake lol
