Let me introduce you guys to the prophet of the 20th century, Enoch Powell.

Enoch was a genius and an extraordinary individual, but he was also 40 years ahead from everyone else, although the british public loved him, the establishment had their own agenda and he was a threat to them, since he was a staunch nationalist and refused to give up any sovereignty away.

The key things Enoch fought for during his political career was to not join the EEC (European Economic Community) which he said would eventually be a 'United States of Europe' and undermine the national sovereignty of member states, and being strongly anti immigration as he saw it undermining the British culture and destroying the fabric of society creating parallel societies and breaking communities apart.

The biggest move he made in his career was to deny running for parliarment in 1974 and encourage everyone to vote for Labour since they promised a referendum on membership of EEC (which was held 1975), labour managed to get a majority by 1 seat, mostly gaining seats around Powells constituency, Wolverhampton, the Midlands.
In 1970 he is said to have won the election for the Torys as he spoke out strongly against immigration which resonated with the general public and gave the Torys the image of the anti immigration party, although Enoch was a minority in the party.

A few of his achievements in his personal life was being the youngest professor in the British Empire at the age of 25, when the war started he volunteered in the British Army and quickly moved up in the ranks being the youngest Brigadier in the British Army for a while, and the only private to reach that rank during the war. During WW2 he was stationed many places, but was never in combat as the higher ups saw his intelligence and used him for other things, his greatest achievement during the war, was in Africa where he was tasked with studying and understanding Rommels tactics to aid the British military. During his time serving in India he fell in love with it, and dreamt of becoming Viceroy some day, this desire initially got him into politics, being a smart guy he by no means wanted England to become India though.

Its from 2008, BBC was not always shit, they always had a bias, but they could actually produce somewhat neutral programs back in the day.

Yeah, they're clips from a BBC documentary, a 40min one too, you can find it on youtube. I suggest you find that one.

It's not the most unbiased report, but it is not the most biased either.
Overall, Powell was right. In the full length docmentary there is a scene where he is giving a speech attacking the spineless conservatives who embraced mass non-white immigration and adopted the model of multi-culti britain as their platform and one of the people in the crowd shouts: "JUDAS"; To which Enoch reacts saying: "Judas was paid! I am making a sacrifice".
It's quite profound.

Either way, there is no mainstream view that will represent Enoch Powell fairly. There's barely any alternative that will do the same. But he was a british man and a british nationalist at heart. Which is different than a white nationalist, even though he attacked as tho he were one.

Yes he was called Judas for supporting Labour on a single issue, which he deemed more important than anything else.
And surely it cost him his political career, although he regained a seat as a member of North Irelands Unionist Party
