    Motivations behind the changes done in this patch :
    This is a small explanation of what I'm trying to achieve with the changes I make, knowing my goal might help put the changes into context instead of them seeming somewhat random



      • So first, As can be seen from the title, We are trying to make the units of each faction have unique traits, I didn't manage to do this for all factions as the changelog was getting too large, so some factions didn't get changed as much as others (I'm sorry Silverhand and Dragonmaw fans), more unit changes will be distributed among the next patches to further reinforce each faction's identity and give more to the factions that didn't get much this patch.
      • I also want to add a little bit more to the importance of tactics in LTA. The game currently has layers of strategy but it is my opinion that it needs more, basic things like "spamming ranged units only is bad" are some of things LTA doesn't really achieve, this patch aims to mend to that.
      • Some other various quality of life changes or just small new content here and there.
      • I took some risks with changes that might be a little bit too drastic, I'll be watching how those work, and might revert them or tone them down.


    General Changes

    In white are the relatively important changes.


    Damage Table Changes :

    Normal damage now deals 270% against medium up from of 170%
    Normal damage now deals 220% against unarmored up from of 140%
    Hero damage now deals 195% against medium armor up from 95%
    Hero damage now deals 155% against unarmored up from 95%
    Hero damage now deals 35% against reinforced down from 55%
    Normal damage now deals 65% against heavy armor down from 75%
    Magic damage now deals 140% against light armor up from 100%


    General Changes to all factions :

    All infantry melee units have their damage increased by 5.
    All infantry units except Blood Elven Archers have their collision size set to 16.
    The infusion upgrades now grant 75 HP down from 100 HP.
    Death infusion now only affects undead and demon casters.
    Non-caster undead and demons gain 150 HP.
    Transport Ship's movement speed increased from 280 to 350.
    Frigates' movement speed increased from 280 to 340.
    Frigates' range increased from 450 to 700
    You can now have 12 siege units instead of 8 (might change to become unlimited depending on how siege will work in this version)
    Mines' explosions now affects both friendly and enemy units.
    Dispel spells' range reduced from 700 to 500, their AOE reduced from 170 to 150, the damage to summoned units reduced from 250 to 150.
    The corrupted Sunwell's mana regeneration reduced from 2 to 1.
    The Sunwell's mana regeneration reduced from 3 to 1.5


    Economy Changes :

    Barrens tree walls : lumber amount per tree increased from 120 to 240. (exists mostly near Kargath)
    Terrokar tree walls : lumber amount per tree increased from 120 to 240. (exists mostly in terrokar forest)
    Black Citadel tree walls : lumber amount per tree increased from 120 to 360. (exists mostly in shadowmoon valley)
    All players start with 170 gold instead of 110.

    CPs now have 800 HP up from 400/600/800.
    CPs now have 30 hit point regeneration, it increases to 210/300/390/480 hit point regeneration at 10/20/30/40 minutes of elapsed game time.

    General Gameplay :

    The minimum movement speed is now 1. (if you slow a unit enough, it'll stop moving)

    Terrain Changes :

    The terrain next to the Farstriders' enclave has been changed to allow a new road to it.

    Kargath now has 2 entrances, pathing blockers were added to the left of the old entrance to give less space to attackers.

    A new path in Khaz Modan is opened from the left of the bridge to Grim Batol.

    Slight terrain modifications in other places that do not affect gameplay.

    Tooltips :

    Various Tooltips fixed, many more to fix.
    It is possible to consult the armor/attack interactions in game by hovering over the attack or armor icon of the selected unit.



    In what follows, all buffs or nerfs are applied to the unit and its upgrades (if Mortar Teams are changed, so will be Dark Iron Mortar teams, if knights are changed, so will crimson knights...etc)
    Various units in the map have been replaced with other units or moved to other places.


    Blood elves

    Spirit of the Sin'Dorei mana upgrades reduced from 50 to 25 per level.
    The Sunwell no longer has a life regeneration aura.
    Mana regeneration from the Sunwell reduced from 3 to 1
    Swordsman :




      • Swordsman's divine shield duration reduced from 15 to 7.
      • Fixed magic defense not reducing piercing damage, it now reduces both magic and piercing damage by 40%, and movement speed is reduced by 40% up from 10%
    Archers :



      • Ambush now reduces the movement speed by 20%, duration reduced from 18 to 12 seconds.
      • Archers' movement speed increased by 40.
      • Archers', Farstriders' and Halduron's Animation Damage point reduced from 0.72 to 0.15 (time between the unit deciding to attack and the projectile leaving)
      • Archers', Farstriders' and Halduron's turning rate increased from 0.6 (standard) to 1.2
      • Archers' and Farstriders' range increased by 75.
      • Archers' Searing Arrows reworked, it now has a cooldown of 10 seconds, costs 80 mana, and deals 60/75 (with farstrider upgrade) additional damage. (No longer works on heroes).
      • Archers no longer have a minimum attack range.
    Priests :



      • Mana cost of bloodstone increased from 100 to 175
    Sorceresses :



      • Lesser Mana Rays (sorceress summons) HP reduced from 510 to 250.
    Ballista :



      • Ballista's movement speed reduced from 200 to 160.
      • Ballista's collision size increased from 30 to 32.
    Blood Sorceress :



      • Banish's cooldown reduced from 10 to 2.
      • Banish's cast ranged reduced from 900 to 600.
    Halduron's movement speed increased from 260 to 280.

    Fel Elves :

    Fel Stalkers :




      • Fel Stalkers' armor changed from Summoned to Large.
      • Fel Stalkers now have Mana Burn.
      • Fel Stalkers' attack increased by 5.
    Demonesses :



      • Demonesses no longer have Charm and Fel Cloud.
      • Demonesses now have anti-magic shell that grants a 800 spell shield for 60 seconds, costs 80.
      • Demonesses now have Devour Magic.
    Shadowsword Summoners :



      • Shadowsword summoner no longer has Energy flare and Summon Fel Minion.
      • Shadowsword summoner's first spell is now Fel claws.
      • Shadowsword summoner now has Fel Burn which silences the target, deals 10 damage per second and reduces the damage output of the target by 35% for 7 seconds.
      • Shadowsword summoner now has Fel Rain, a channeled ability which deals damage over time to all units in AOE.
    Fel Breakers :



      • Fel Breakers no longer have Fel Fire.
      • Fel Breakers now have Fel Glaives which causes one of their attacks each 10 seconds to reduce the movement speed and attack speed of the attacked unit by 100% for 2 seconds.
    Fel Elves now keep sorceresses, the sorceresses have summon lesser fel ray instead of summon mana ray.

    Illidari :

    Draenei Broken's movement speed increased from 245 to 300.
    Mur'gul spawnlings (that spawn from parasite) have their HP halved.
    Spirit Heal's AOE reduced from 600 to 350, cooldown increased from 30 to 40.


    Wretched :

    All wretched units now have -1 base mana regeneration (casters have -1.64).
    Power Hunger's mana regeneration increased from 1.5 to 2.5.
    All wretched units now have combust mana, an active that causes the wretched unit to move 30%, attack 70% faster for 15 seconds. Costs 200 mana.
    Archers :




      • Wretched Archer's magic arrow replaced with Freezing arrows, that increase their damage by 35% and slows the enemies attacked by 40%, uses 12 mana per attack.
      • Benefits from the same changes as the normal archers.
    Wretched :



      • Wretched's movement speed increased from 240 to 280.
      • Wretched's spell steal replaced with mana steal, which causes each of their attacks to steal 20 mana from the attacked unit.
      • Wretched's attack damage increased by 4.
      • Wretched's cost reduced from 19 to 17.
      • Wretched Priest's Control Magic replaced with Spell Steal.
    Wretched Priests :



      • Wretched Priest's Anti-magic shell replaced with Excavate Mana : the priest extracts the mana from a corpse to buff an allied unit within 500 range of the corpse giving it 50% attack damage, 10 armor and 20 HP regeneration for 5 seconds. (dispellable)
      • Wretched Priest's Conjure Health Stone replaced with Mana Wrath Stone that summons a stone that attacks nearby enemy units, it has 350 HP and 0 mana. Costs 175 mana to cast, the stone has the abilities :
        • Mana Steal : Each attack steals 20 mana.The crystal absorbs 20 mana from the target.
        • Discharge : gives 40 bonus damage to the next attack and allows it to do AOE damage. Costs 100 mana.
    Wretched Addicts :



      • Wretched Addict's Summon Wretched ray replaced with Mana Thirst which increases the attack speed of the target unit by 100%, and causes it to loose 10 HP per second. Units whose HP reaches 0 under Mana Thirst transform into a Wretched for 10 seconds before dying. lasts 10 seconds, can be cast on both allies and enemies. Undispellable.
    Power Crystals :



      • Power Crystals now also have Power Hunger.
      • Power Crystals' Replenish Mana and Life replaced with spirit touch and essence of blight.
    Wretched Sorceresses :



      • Wretched Sorceresses' Mana burst replaced with Siphon Mana (steals from enemies and gives if used to allies)
      • Banish's cooldown reduced from 10 to 2.
      • Banish's cast ranged reduced from 900 to 600.

    Dalaran

    Arcane Construction Mastery now grants 100 instead of 150 HP
    Dalaran Construct :




      • Dalaran Construct's armor changed from summoned to large.
      • Dalaran Construct's pulverize damage reduced from 60 to 20
      • Dalaran Construct's movement speed reduced by from 230 to 210
      • Dalaran Constructs no longer a limited unit.
      • Dalaran Construct's armor reduced from 7 to 5.
    Siege Golem :



      • Siege Golems' recharge form no longer has less HP than the original.
      • Siege Golems' movement speed reduced from 200 to 150.
      • Siege Golems' Armor reduced from 5 to 3.
      • Siege Golems are now limited to 8.
      • Slam's damage reduced from 125 to 50.
    Constructionist :



      • Constructionist's arcane elemental's HP reduced from 750 to 350.
      • Constructionist's attacks upgrade with 2 instead of 3.
      • Rune Ward's AOE damage reduced from 250 to 125, its duration increased from 220 to permanent, and cooldown reduced from 60 to 10, mana cost increased from 100 to 140. It also damages both allied and enemy units.
    Sorceress :



      • Sorceresses' movement speed increased from 240 to 280.
      • Sorceress's attack upgrades with 4 instead of 3.
      • Polymorph's duration increased from 10 to 25.
    Priest :



      • Dalaran rune's attack increase from 10% to 25%, health regeneration increased from 0.4 to 2, it no longer increases armor.
      • Health stone's mana cost increased from 100 to 175.
    Kirin Tor Mage :



      • Chain lightning's mana cost reduced from 250 to 190
      • Chain Healing's mana cost reduced from 225 to 180
    Arcanist reworked :



      • damage increased by 5 and upgrades by 4
      • cost increased from 18 to 21
      • Spirit Touch replaced with Arcane Bolt. (damage and stun)
    Rhonin :



      • Wise Council's cooldown increased from 40 to 50.
    Khadgar's pipe of insight mana regeneration reduced from 2 to 1.

    Worgen :

    Footman/Worgen :




      • Worgen's armor type changed to Unarmored.
      • Worgen's speed increased from 265 to 290.
      • Worgen rage's attack speed gain increased from 25% to 35%, the movement speed increase is removed.
      • Worgen No longer has feral infection
      • Worgen now have Pack Movement, an aura that increases the damage of all melee nearby allies (180 range) by 5%, the aura stacks.
      • Worgen's HP increased from 580 to 780 (980 with the upgrade)
      • Worgen's HP regeneration increased from 0.6 to 10.
    Gilneas Knights/Worgen Nightbanes :



      • Gilneas Knights (and Nightbanes) no longer have resistant skin.
      • Gilneas Knights are no longer limited.
      • Gilneas Knight's movement speed increased from 300 to 320.
      • Gilneas Knight's HP increased from 1160 to 1260.
      • Worgen Nightbane's movement speed reduced from 200 to 170.
      • Worgen Nightbanes no longer have feral infection
      • Worgen Nightbanes' base attack cooldown reduced from 1.35 to 1.
      • Worgen Nightbanes' armor type changed to Medium.
      • Worgen Nightbanes now have intimidation aura, which reduces the movement (10%) and attack speed (12%) of nearby enemy units (95 range), the aura stacks.
    Wolf Cult Followers :



      • Goldrin's blessing's mana regeneration reduced from 2 to 1 and hit point regeneration reduced from 10 to 7.
    Crowley is now revivable.

    Dwarves

    Rifelmen :




      • Scout mode removed.
    Bear Warriors :



      • Bear warriors no longer limited to 10.
      • Bear warriors' attack damage reduced by 10, and attack upgrades by 5 instead of 7.
      • Chance to bash increased from 10 to 30%, bonus damage from bashing reduced from 25 to 10.
      • Bear warriors no longer requires Ironforge.
    Mortar Teams :



      • Mortar team armor type changed from large to normal
      • Mortar team's movement speed reduced from 240 to 160
    Siege Engines :



      • Siege engines' attacks are now single target, damage increased by 20 and upgrades with 9 instead of 11.
      • Siege engines no longer require Ironforge
      • Siege engines' movement speed reduced from 200 to 170, health reduced from 600 to 340. (490 after gnomish upgrade)
      • Siege engines can no longer learn barrage.
      • Siege engines now have siege mode, transforming them into immobile units with 1400 range and 250 AOE attacks, but they attack 3 times slower. Transformation requires 3.5 seconds for both transforming in and out of the siege mode.
      • Siege engines no longer get replaced by Iron behemoths after upgrading to Dark Iron Dwarves, but they receive additional attack damage.
    Wildhammer Shamans :



      • Wildhammer's storm replaced with Paralysis causing all units in an AOE to move 30% and attack 50% slower.
      • Heal's HP cooldown reduced from 2 to 1.
    Dwarven Airships :



      • Dwarven airship's movement speed reduced from 265 to 210.
    Gyrocopters :



      • Gyrocopter's movement speed increased from 305 to 360.
      • Gyrocopter's night vision increased from 1000 to 1300.
    Dark Iron Golems :



      • Dark Iron Golem no longer has summoned armor.
      • Dark Iron Golem is no longer a limited unit.
      • Dark Iron Golem's pulverize damage reduced from 60 to 20.
      • Dark Iron Golem's cost increased from 45 to 50.
      • Dark Iron Golem's movement speed reduced from 230 to 205.
      • Dark Iron Golem's armor reduced from 8 to 6.


    Silverhand

    Knights :




      • Garithos' movement speed increased from 280 to 375.
      • Knights' movement speed increased from 300 to 375.
      • Knights' attack damage reduced by 10.
      • Knights' Hit points reduced from 1500 to 1350.
      • Knights now have the charge ability allowing them to be able to move over units for 0.8 seconds or until they attack, 10 seconds cooldown. (Garithos also gains this ability)
    Steam Tanks :



      • Steam tank's range reduced to 500 and becomes single target, health increased from 450 to 600. and attack damage increased by 10.
      • Steam tank's movement speed reduced from 200 to 170.
    Silverhand Clerics :



      • Heal's HP cooldown reduced from 2 to 1.
    High Elves Relations no longer grants Highborne as a unit choice.

    Scourge

    Zombies are no longer available for the scourge.
    Damned Mages are no longer available for the scourge.
    Acolyte :




      • No longer has shade form.
    Ghouls :



      • Ghoul's damage increased by 7 and damage upgrade increased from 2 to 4.
      • Ghoul's movement speed increased from 260 to 320.
      • Ghoul's armor increased from 0 to 1.
      • Ghoul's collision size reduced from 15 to 8.
      • Ghouls no longer have lifesteal
    Meat Wagons :



      • Meat wagon's collision size increased from 28 to 32 and movement speed reduced from 200 to 145.
    Frost Wyrms :



      • Frost wyrm's armor type changed from large to small.
    Sky Barges :



      • Sky Barge's movement speed reduced from 235 to 210.
    Fallen Heroes :



      • Fallen hero no longer has resistant skin.
      • Fallen hero no longer limited to 6.
      • Fallen hero's HP reduced from 685 to 445 (745 with max death infusion).
      • Fallen heroes now have a spell caster upgrade available in the temple of the damned
      • Fallen heroes' movement speed increased from 245 to 290
      • Fallen heroes now have 12-15 damage.
      • Fallen heroes' cost reduced from 26 to 19.
      • Fallen heroes' starting mana reduced from 300 to 200.
      • Fallen heroes' maximum mana reduced from 300 to 250.
      • Fallen heroes now have :
        1. Purge
        2. Silence : Silences a unit and reduces its attack speed by 50% for 7 seconds.
        3. Terror : Causes all units in an AOE to miss 25% of their attacks.
    Aqir Sentinels :



      • Aqir sentinel's attack damage reduced by 6.
    Necromancers :



      • Skeleton warrior's HP is halved.
      • Necromancer's starting mana increased from 75 to 150.
    Death Knights :



      • Death knight's unholy blade replaced with Reanimation, animates 3 units, costs 100 mana, 30 seconds cooldown.
    Nerubian Seers :



      • Conjure Health Stone's mana cost increased from 100 to 175.
    Tomb or relics :



      • Scroll of healing replaced with scroll of regeneration.

    Cult of the damned

    Ghouls are no longer available for Cult of the Damned.
    Necromancers :




      • Necromancer's starting mana increased from 75 to 150.
    Damned Mages :



      • Damned Mage's Cauldron now requires the mage to keep channeling, if interrupted the Cauldron dies, lasts 60 seconds.
      • Damned Mage's Cauldron no longer spawns zombies, instead it can contaminate a nearby enemy unit for 70 mana reducing their attack speed by 35%, dealing 5 damage per second and causing them to transform into a zombie on death. (The buff is undispellable)
      • The Cauldron starts with 0 mana and has 10 mana regeneration per second and a 280 mana pool.
      • The Cauldron is mechanical (does not benefit from wise council and brilliance aura)
    Cultists :



      • Cultist renamed to Acolyte and can now collect lumber.
    Arch Necromancers :



      • Arch necromancer's twisted wight replaced with Raise Flesh Golem, creates a controllable flesh Golem while the necromancer is channeling, 500 cast range.
      • Skeletal Frenzy no longer requires Unholy Magic Mastery.
    Sludge Belchers :



      • Sludge Belchers' cost increased from 33 to 36.
      • Sludge Belchers are no longer limited.
      • Bile Explosion's primary damage reduced from 220 to 150 and partial damage from 100 to 75.
    Flesh Golems :



      • Flesh Golem is no longer limited to 2 units.
      • Flesh Golem now has trample, allowing it to move above other units for 3.5 seconds or until it attacks, reduces the Flesh Golem's movement speed by 50%
      • Flesh Golem no longer has Slam.
      • Flesh Golem's health reduced from 2400 to 1800
    Gargoyles :



      • Gargoyle's ranged damage type changed from Magical to Piercing.
      • Gargoyle's stone form now has a collision size of 48.
      • Gargoyle's movement speed increased from 285 to 315.
    Dalaran Exiles :



      • Dalaran Exile's skeleton archer ability replaced with Cripple.
      • Dalaran Exile's attack damage increased by 3 and now upgrades by 4.
    Zombies :



      • Zombies' hit points reduced to 680.
      • Zombies now have infectious, causes all units that die within 1 seconds of being hit by a zombie to transform into a permanent zombie.
      • Zombies' movement speed reduced from 245 to 220.
    Sky Barges :



      • Sky Barge's movement speed reduced from 235 to 210
    Noth :



      • Noth's imbue corpses AOE reduced from 600 to 350, cooldown increased from 30 to 40.
    Meat Wagons :



      • Meat wagon's collision size increased from 28 to 32 and movement speed reduced from 200 to 145.
    Tomb or relics :



      • Scroll of healing replaced with scroll of regeneration.

    Forsaken

      • Meat wagon's collision size increased from 28 to 32 and movement speed reduced from 200 to 145.
    Forsaken Archers :



      • Skeletons spawned from Black arrow have their HP halved.
      • Forsaken Archers' attack range increased by 100.
      • Ambush now reduces the movement speed by 20%, duration reduced from 18 to 12 seconds.
    Apothecaries :



      • Healing Couldrons heal 1% instead of 2% HP per second.
      • Healing Cauldron's mana cost increased from 100 to 175.
    Banshees :



      • Banshee's Anti Magic Shell is no longer autocastable, it now absorbs 350 magic damage instead of making the target immune to spells, it can no longer be dispelled.
      • Banshee's movement speed increased from 250 to 260.
      • Banshee's Possession cast range increased from 200 to 250.
      • Banshee's Possession now costs 300 mana (can no longer be cast as soon as the banshee is trained)
    Ghouls :



      • Ghoul's damage increased by 7 and damage upgrade increased from 2 to 4.
      • Ghoul's movement speed increased from 260 to 320.
      • Ghoul's armor increased from 0 to 1.
      • Ghoul's collision size reduced from 15 to 8.
      • Ghouls no longer have lifesteal
    Black Spiders :



      • Black spider's poison now reduces attack speed by 50/70% up from 25/60%, and movement speed by 20/40% down from 50/70%, and damage reduced to 2/4 down from 4/8. Duration increased to 15/20 seconds up from .
      • Black spider's movement speed increased to 335 up from 295.
      • Black spider's collision size reduced from 8 to 4.
    Gargoyles :



      • Gargoyle's attack type changed from magic to piercing.
      • Gargoyle's stone form now has 48 collision size.
      • Gargoyle's movement speed increased from 285 to 315.
    Forsaken Sky Barges :



      • Forsaken Sky Barge's movement speed reduced from 265 to 210.
    Tomb or relics :



      • Scroll of healing replaced with scroll of regeneration.

    The burning legion

    Demonic Supremacy's health bonus reduced from 100 to 75.
    Demonic Supremacy's damage bonus reduced from 5 to 3.
    The Control Point in the twisting nether has been removed.


    Rifts and Gates :



      • Each of the Dreanor rifts now grant the burning legion a doomguard every minutes
      • After being opened the Nathrezim gates give the legion demonic units every and Nathrezim gateways now grant the burning legion demons every 2 minutes. The spawn minutes, random between (1 infernal, 2 succubi and 2 fel beasts or 2 void walkers and 2 felguards)
    All units :



      • The legion units now use standard armor and attack types with a few exceptions.
    Infernals :



      • Infernal's HP reduced from 2600 to 2200 and gold cost increased from 50 to 80 (now has large armor, damage type still chaos).
    Infernal Machines :



      • Infernal machine's movement speed reduced from 200 to 145, collision size increased to 32.
      • Infernal machine's hit points reduced from 960 to 530 (now has large armor, damage type still chaos)
    Fel Beasts :



      • Fel beasts' cost increased from 17 to 19. (now has large armor and normal attacks)
      • Fel beasts' damage reduced by 2.
    Voidwalkers :



      • Voidwalker's cost reduced from 19 to 18.
      • Lesser Voidwalkers (that spawn from parasite) have their HP halved.
    Nathrezim Elites :



      • Nathrezim elites now have the ability "convert" that gives you vision of a non-hero enemy unit and all that unit can see, 1000 cast range, 200 seconds cooldown, 100 mana cost, can affect buildings.
      • Nathrezim elites' void sight is replaced with "Possess" which sacrifices the unit to give you vision of the target hero for the rest of the game.
    Succubus :



      • Succubi's mana pool reduced from 450 to 300, and HP reduced by 150 (cancels out with the increase from death infusion, so they still have 600), now have medium armor and chaos attack, Succubi are considered ranged/caster hybrid and are not affected by death infusion.
    Tomb or relics :



      • Scroll of healing replaced with scroll of regeneration.
    Master's Favors now grants Eredar Sorcerers instead of Void Walkers, 150 mana cost, cooldown increased from 120 to 200.

    Motivations behind the changes done in this patch :
    This is a small explanation of what I'm trying to achieve with the changes I make, knowing my goal might help put the changes into context instead of them seeming somewhat random



      • So first, As can be seen from the title, We are trying to make the units of each faction have unique traits, I didn't manage to do this for all factions as the changelog was getting too large, so some factions didn't get changed as much as others (I'm sorry Silverhand and Dragonmaw fans), more unit changes will be distributed among the next patches to further reinforce each faction's identity and give more to the factions that didn't get much this patch.
      • I also want to add a little bit more to the importance of tactics in LTA. The game currently has layers of strategy but it is my opinion that it needs more, basic things like "spamming ranged units only is bad" are some of things LTA doesn't really achieve, this patch aims to mend to that.
      • Some other various quality of life changes or just small new content here and there.
      • I took some risks with changes that might be a little bit too drastic, I'll be watching how those work, and might revert them or tone them down.


    General Changes

    In white are the relatively important changes.


    Damage Table Changes :

    Normal damage now deals 270% against medium up from of 170%
    Normal damage now deals 220% against unarmored up from of 140%
    Hero damage now deals 195% against medium armor up from 95%
    Hero damage now deals 155% against unarmored up from 95%
    Hero damage now deals 35% against reinforced down from 55%
    Normal damage now deals 65% against heavy armor down from 75%
    Magic damage now deals 140% against light armor up from 100%


    General Changes to all factions :

    All infantry melee units have their damage increased by 5.
    All infantry units except Blood Elven Archers have their collision size set to 16.
    The infusion upgrades now grant 75 HP down from 100 HP.
    Death infusion now only affects undead and demon casters.
    Non-caster undead and demons gain 150 HP.
    Transport Ship's movement speed increased from 280 to 350.
    Frigates' movement speed increased from 280 to 340.
    Frigates' range increased from 450 to 700
    You can now have 12 siege units instead of 8 (might change to become unlimited depending on how siege will work in this version)
    Mines' explosions now affects both friendly and enemy units.
    Dispel spells' range reduced from 700 to 500, their AOE reduced from 170 to 150, the damage to summoned units reduced from 250 to 150.
    The corrupted Sunwell's mana regeneration reduced from 2 to 1.
    The Sunwell's mana regeneration reduced from 3 to 1.5


    Economy Changes :

    Barrens tree walls : lumber amount per tree increased from 120 to 240. (exists mostly near Kargath)
    Terrokar tree walls : lumber amount per tree increased from 120 to 240. (exists mostly in terrokar forest)
    Black Citadel tree walls : lumber amount per tree increased from 120 to 360. (exists mostly in shadowmoon valley)
    All players start with 170 gold instead of 110.

    CPs now have 800 HP up from 400/600/800.
    CPs now have 30 hit point regeneration, it increases to 210/300/390/480 hit point regeneration at 10/20/30/40 minutes of elapsed game time.

    General Gameplay :

    The minimum movement speed is now 1. (if you slow a unit enough, it'll stop moving)

    Terrain Changes :

    The terrain next to the Farstriders' enclave has been changed to allow a new road to it.

    Various units in the map have been replaced with other units or moved to other places.

      • Archers' Searing Arrows reworked, it now has a cooldown of 10 seconds, costs 80 mana, and deals 60/75 (with farstrider upgrade) additional damage. (No longer works on heroes).
      • Archers no longer have a minimum attack range.

      • Mana cost of bloodstone increased from 100 to 175
    Sorceresses :



      • Lesser Mana Rays (sorceress summons) HP reduced from 510 to 250.
    Ballista :

    Fel Breakers :



      • Fel Breakers no longer have Fel Fire.
      • Fel Breakers now have Fel Glaives which causes one of their attacks each 10 seconds to reduce the movement speed and attack speed of the attacked unit by 100% for 2 seconds.
    Fel Elves now keep sorceresses, the sorceresses have summon lesser fel ray instead of summon mana ray.

    Illidari :

    Draenei Broken's movement speed increased from 245 to 300.
    Mur'gul spawnlings (that spawn from parasite) have their HP halved.
    Spirit Heal's AOE reduced from 600 to 350, cooldown increased from 30 to 40.


    Wretched :

    All wretched units now have -1 base mana regeneration (casters have -1.64).
    Power Hunger's mana regeneration increased from 1.5 to 2.5.
    All wretched units now have combust mana, an active that causes the wretched unit to move 30%, attack 70% faster for 15 seconds. Costs 200 mana.
    Archers :




      • Wretched Archer's magic arrow replaced with Freezing arrows, that increase their damage by 35% and slows the enemies attacked by 40%, uses 12 mana per attack.
      • Benefits from the same changes as the normal archers.
    Wretched :



      • Wretched's movement speed increased from 240 to 280.
      • Wretched's spell steal replaced with mana steal, which causes each of their attacks to steal 20 mana from the attacked unit.
      • Wretched's attack damage increased by 4.
      • Wretched's cost reduced from 19 to 17.
      • Wretched Priest's Control Magic replaced with Spell Steal.
    Wretched Priests :



      • Wretched Priest's Anti-magic shell replaced with Excavate Mana : the priest extracts the mana from a corpse to buff an allied unit within 500 range of the corpse giving it 50% attack damage, 10 armor and 20 HP regeneration for 5 seconds. (dispellable)
      • Wretched Priest's Conjure Health Stone replaced with Mana Wrath Stone that summons a stone that attacks nearby enemy units, it has 350 HP and 0 mana. Costs 175 mana to cast, the stone has the abilities :
        • Mana Steal : Each attack steals 20 mana.The crystal absorbs 20 mana from the target.
        • Discharge : gives 40 bonus damage to the next attack and allows it to do AOE damage. Costs 100 mana.
    Wretched Addicts :



      • Wretched Addict's Summon Wretched ray replaced with Mana Thirst which increases the attack speed of the target unit by 100%, and causes it to loose 10 HP per second. Units whose HP reaches 0 under Mana Thirst transform into a Wretched for 10 seconds before dying. lasts 10 seconds, can be cast on both allies and enemies. Undispellable.
    Power Crystals :



      • Power Crystals now also have Power Hunger.
      • Power Crystals' Replenish Mana and Life replaced with spirit touch and essence of blight.
    Wretched Sorceresses :



      • Wretched Sorceresses' Mana burst replaced with Siphon Mana (steals from enemies and gives if used to allies)

      • The Cauldron starts with 0 mana and has 10 mana regeneration per second and a 280 mana pool.
      • The Cauldron is mechanical (does not benefit from wise council and brilliance aura)
    Cultists :



      • Cultist renamed to Acolyte and can now collect lumber.
    Arch Necromancers :



      • Arch necromancer's twisted wight replaced with Raise Flesh Golem, creates a controllable flesh Golem while the necromancer is channeling, 500 cast range.
      • Skeletal Frenzy no longer requires Unholy Magic Mastery.

      • Black spider's collision size reduced from 8 to 4.

      • The legion units now use standard armor and attack types with a few exceptions.
    Infernals :



      • Infernal's HP reduced from 2600 to 2200 and gold cost increased from 50 to 80 (now has large armor, damage type still chaos).
    Infernal Machines :



      • Infernal machine's movement speed reduced from 200 to 145, collision size increased to 32.
      • Infernal machine's hit points reduced from 960 to 530 (now has large armor, damage type still chaos)
    Fel Beasts :



      • Fel beasts' cost increased from 17 to 19. (now has large armor and normal attacks)
      • Fel beasts' damage reduced by 2.
    Voidwalkers :



      • Voidwalker's cost reduced from 19 to 18.
      • Lesser Voidwalkers (that spawn from parasite) have their HP halved.
    Nathrezim Elites :



      • Nathrezim elites now have the ability "convert" that gives you vision of a non-hero enemy unit and all that unit can see, 1000 cast range, 200 seconds cooldown, 100 mana cost, can affect buildings.
      • Nathrezim elites' void sight is replaced with "Possess" which sacrifices the unit to give you vision of the target hero for the rest of the game.
    Succubus :



      • Succubi's mana pool reduced from 450 to 300, and HP reduced by 150 (cancels out with the increase from death infusion, so they still have 600), now have medium armor and chaos attack, Succubi are considered ranged/caster hybrid and are not affected by death infusion.
    Tomb or relics :



      • Scroll of healing replaced with scroll of regeneration.
    Master's Favors now grants Eredar Sorcerers instead of Void Walkers, 150 mana cost, cooldown increased from 120 to 200.

    The "Summon Eredar Sorcerer" items on the Nathrezim Heroes are replaced with "Open Portal" item which after channeling 30 seconds, opens a portal to the twisting nether from the Dreadlord's current position, as the channeling is happening, the portal is being constructed, if the portal is destroyed the channeling stops. Not available after the burning legion is summoned.

    Rest in peace horde. The single saving grace horde had, their raiders, are literally useless now, with the nerf to medium armor i really don't see how you are even supposed to play green anymore. Since they pretty much are inferior to other races in most regards, you just had to use the mobility you had to get pick offs with your raider ensnare along with high damage chain lightning. The whole main strategy of horde rushing middle with their fast and somewhat tanky units and their ensnare for quick EXP and possible items, to have that ever so sweet level 10 Drek'thar and go the path of your choosing, in turn giving you level 10 on all of the heroes and an actual good army compisition is just not doable anymore. The Frostwolf summon on shaman was what compensated for their weak frontline early and now they just don't have anything, yea you can go grunts but they still get outmatched by pretty much anything and you can't compensate the weakness of grunts with your damage because you pretty much have none since you are horde, that was the thing for horde, they are weak early so you have to get levels fast and get a path, then you can roflstomp your way through the game with your op path heroes and effective units.

    You also might aswell rename any kind of siege unit to "yo fam want sum feed ?" considering how weak they are now. And Garithos is also fucking Spectre from Dota now, he was already so hard to catch in the first place with that speed aura and healing from paladins, when you SOMEHOW do get a surround on him and finally hope you can get rid of that cancergiving shockwave he goes all spooky ghost on you and literally escapes with a short windwalk. And what is up with removing every limit there is for units ? I really see now reason to make units that had a cap for a reason weaker just so you can remove that. At this rate LTA is just going to become starcraft with all the units dying in ~ 10 seconds. Also thanks for the big bad voodoo on troll elites with 240 RANGE, what the fuck are you even going to catch with 240 range, and even if you actually move your army in such a way to engulf it all, not so hard considering you do have 4 i suppose, tough shit kid cause you can literally spit on them and they'll explode now considering how little armor and HP they have. Also fuck any kind of air at this point, anyone with some decent ranged will no-scope those mothafuckers.

    Also rest in peace Dragonmaw aswell, raise skeletons was SUCH a good spell on them, and for the fact, rest in peace summons in general, it really feels like whoever made that change went like "dispell is 2 hard to use" why even bother to research the upgrade that gives you the summon spell ? It's pretty much a 2nd siege unit going all like "yo fam want sum feed?". And also you can't drop 8 bear riders on top of an enemy hero with sky barges and perma-bash him to death which i don't know if is a good or bad change, I'm going to say bad.

    You're literally removing fun parts of factions and just limiting what people can do. Some of the single things i can actually congratulate in this patch is the icecrown widening.

    "When you didn't play the map you're editing so you might aswell just make it into Azeroth Wars"

    Time to host 1.51 for eternity i suppose

    This is by far the worst patch changelog for LTA i have seen.

    There is a fine line between developing things and changing them, and this is just pure changing and very little actual development. There are so many options for awesome new content, yet the editors seem alot more focused on changing things around. Alot of things which worked fine.

    Sure trolls needed some adjusting. Sure its fair to try and limit cp sniping a bit - but this?
    Where is the reasoning for all these insane amount of changes? And then at the same patch giving a truly obscure result.

    When did anyone in the history of LTA think "Eye of Killrog too op. Its so fast". Most of this patch is change for the sake of change, and thats bad to the bone.

    One of the things that makes LTA what it is, is the fact that every faction has its downsides and other areas where they truly shine. Dalaran is not suposed to have more golems and/or unlimited melee units. Dalaran is suposed to be a spellcaster faction. Scourge is not suposed to have unlimited fallen heroes with alot of magic damage and silence, scourge is suposed to rely on teamwork with cult. By removing the unit limits you are essentialy mutilating each faction making them less unique. And also completely ruining your attempt to limit cp sniping, since you can now spawn alot stronger units to snipe with.

    I hope @Draupne is turning in his grave.

    As a sidenote, please dont copy-pasta from Brigands Haven. It really mess up the post. You guys should do a google doc like ol' daddy Draupne.

    I honestly think its too much to predict what the map is going to be like and i feel like some of you guys are panicking

    Calm down and let them see that they are wrong then maybe they will listen 1.53 :-D come on there are some gut stuff hidden in all of this

    Like Ske says, what i feel is the main problem is that they are trying to change core dynamics of the map that works fine, and was left by draupne in an almost 'fixed' sense that the bugs were minor, and no major unbalances. i mean come on guys, we had a first version in ages, where a solo race could beat 4 man alliance (fucking ALFO) and oj+brown alliance was reduced to a bystander role :-D
    Legions cp snipe that everyone is crying about was MASSIVELY reduced by draupne with the return to master nerf. Everything was gut it was good times

    But instead of seeing lta as a skyskraper constantly in developing and building their floor ontop of draupnes floor, they choose to change the interior wall colour, and set up new interior walls in draupnes floor

    even with the above, there are some good stuff. Like more for the red-green alliance
    What lta needs is to fill out the paths that are very barren of content, and the addition of lady liadrin memes will at least ensure that this alliance has some content

    Also i like the mana regen nerf svnms is doing, but i think it might be too drastic. I would like to see it nerfed maybe 20% instead of what is currently done (jewing for eye of dalaran to be more powerfull than crown and surpass it as strongest item ofc)


    easteregg for the perceptive people: Tehfebeb predicts new strategy for green will be spam kodo and ranged and never build melee. maybe casters with bloodlust and lightning shield as well

    At least I will now never lose Garithos to surrounds anymore feelsgoodman.

    I knew Garithos knew the ancient art of Windwalking and has now bestowed his pure human ├╝bermenschen Knights with the same ability.

    Now it is Arthas who must fear for his life, for the Windwalking Knights of the Silverhand come for him, and the Crown of Lordaeron will never be safe as long as Garithos lurks in the Plaguelands... (And he will because he is faster and now can trample over units like in chess)

    RP aside I cant wait to get 24 knights near Arthas and right before I reach him use "Windwalk" and surround him ezpez (with bonus dmg on first attack as well)

    It looks I can't make threads, so I'll post the post test game changelog here. The main changes the released LTA1.52 will have compared to the previous changelog are :
    1. Mana flare or arcanists' range increased from 600 to 850, mana cost increased by 75.
    2. Hero damage on fortified reduced from 35% to 10%, Magic damage on fortified reduced from 70% to 30%, SIege and Flesh golem's armor reduced by 1.
    3. Deathwing's attacks now have chaos attack.
    4. CP regeneration reduced by a factor of ~5.
    5. Reverted the addition of certain units for Fel Horde in Outland.
    6. Increased Forsaken Archers' damage by 4.
    7. Units charmed by forsaken now benefit from Forsaken's upgrades.
    8. Garrosh is now tied to both Kargath and Warsong Hold, if both are down, he becomes unrevivable.
    9. Geyah is now tied to both Kargath and Garadar, if both are down, she becomes unrevivable.
    10. Horde no longer looses Earthen Ring when Rhegar dies.
    11. All faction gain a scroll of mana regeneration that regenerates 250 mana over 120 seconds. Taking damage stops the regeneration.
    There are other changes that I updated in BH's changelog but not here (I can't edit other people's posts in this Forum, give powerz pliz ?), so you might want to re-read though I don't think it is worth it

    Normal damage now deals 270% against medium up from of 170%

    Hero damage now deals 10% against reinforced down from 55%

    Normal damage now deals 65% against heavy armor down from 75%
    Magic damage now deals 140% against light armor up from 100%
    Chaos damage now deals 60% against hero armor down from 90%

    General Changes to all factions :
    All infantry melee units have their damage increased by 5.
    All infantry units except Blood Elven Archers have their collision size set to 16.
    The infusion upgrades now grant 75 HP down from 100 HP.
    Death infusion now only affects undead and demon casters.
    Non-caster undead and demons gain 150 HP.
    Transport Ship's movement speed increased from 280 to 350.
    Frigates' movement speed increased from 280 to 340.
    Frigates' range increased from 450 to 700
    You can now have 12 siege units instead of 8 (might change to become unlimited depending on how siege will work in this version)
    Mines' explosions now affects both friendly and enemy units.
    Dispel spells' range reduced from 700 to 600, their AOE reduced from 170 to 150, the damage to summoned units reduced from 250 to 150.
    The corrupted Sunwell's mana regeneration reduced from 2 to 1.
    Ensnare's duration on heroes decreased from 1 to 0.5
    Shops now have mana regeneration scrolls which regenerate mana to units around the caster by 250 over 120 seconds. Buff dispelled by damage.

    Economy Changes :
    Barrens tree walls : lumber amount per tree increased from 120 to 240. (exists mostly near Kargath)
    Terrokar tree walls : lumber amount per tree increased from 120 to 240. (exists mostly in terrokar forest)
    Black Citadel tree walls : lumber amount per tree increased from 120 to 360. (exists mostly in shadowmoon valley)
    All players start with 170 gold instead of 110.
    CPs now have 800 HP up from 400/600/800.
    CPs now have 30 hit point regeneration, it increases as time goes on.

    General Gameplay :
    The minimum movement speed is now 1. (if you slow a unit enough, it'll stop moving)

    Terrain Changes :
    The terrain next to the Farstriders' enclave has been changed to allow a new road to it.

    Various units in the map have been replaced with other units or moved to other places.

    Blood elves

    The Sunwell no longer has a life regeneration aura.

    Swordsman :
    1. Swordsman's divine shield duration reduced from 15 to 7.
    2. Fixed magic defense not reducing piercing damage, it now reduces both magic and piercing damage by 40%, and movement speed is reduced by 40% up from 10%
    Archers :
    1. Ambush now reduces the movement speed by 20%, duration reduced from 18 to 12 seconds.
    2. Archers' movement speed increased by 40.
    3. Archers', Farstriders' and Halduron's Animation Damage point reduced from 0.72 to 0.15 (time between the unit deciding to attack and the projectile leaving)
    4. Archers', Farstriders' and Halduron's turning rate increased from 0.6 (standard) to 1.2
    5. Archers' and Farstriders' range increased by 75.
    6. Archers' Searing Arrows reworked, it now has a cooldown of 10 seconds, costs 80 mana, and deals 60/75 (with farstrider upgrade) additional damage. (No longer works on heroes).
    7. Archers no longer have a minimum attack range.
    Priests :
    1. Mana cost of bloodstone increased from 100 to 175
    Sorceresses :
    1. Lesser Mana Rays (sorceress summons) HP reduced from 510 to 250.
    Ballista :
    1. Ballista's movement speed reduced from 200 to 160.
    2. Ballista's collision size increased from 30 to 32.
    Blood Sorceress :
    1. Banish's cooldown reduced from 10 to 2.
    2. Banish's cast ranged reduced from 900 to 600.
    Power Generators :
    1. Mana regeneration changed from 1% of max mana to 2 mana per second.

    Fel Elves :

    1. Fel Stalkers' armor changed from Summoned to Large.

    1. Shadowsword summoner no longer has Energy flare and Summon Fel Minion.
    2. Shadowsword summoner's first spell is now Fel claws.
    3. Shadowsword summoner now has Fel Burn which silences the target, deals 10 damage per second and reduces the damage output of the target by 35% for 7 seconds.
    4. Shadowsword summoner now has Fel Rain, a channeled ability which deals damage over time to all units in AOE.
    Fel Breakers :
    1. Fel Breakers no longer have Fel Fire.
    2. Fel Breakers now have Fel Glaives which causes one of their attacks each 10 seconds to reduce the movement speed and attack speed of the attacked unit by 100% for 2 seconds.
    Fel Elves now keep sorceresses, the sorceresses have summon lesser fel ray instead of summon mana ray.

    Illidari :
    Draenei Broken's movement speed increased from 245 to 300.
    Mur'gul spawnlings (that spawn from parasite) have their HP halved.
    Spirit Heal's AOE reduced from 600 to 480, cooldown increased from 30 to 40.

    Wretched :
    All wretched units now have -1 base mana regeneration (casters have -1.64).
    Power Hunger's mana regeneration increased from 1.5 to 2.5.
    Power Hunger now activates not only from control the Sunwell, but also if they control M'uru, The Nexus or The Apexis Crystal.
    All wretched units now have combust mana, an active that causes the wretched unit to move 30%, attack 70% faster for 15 seconds. Costs 200 mana.
    Archers :
    1. Wretched Archer's magic arrow replaced with Freezing arrows, that increase their damage by 35% and slows the enemies attacked by 40%, uses 12 mana per attack.
    2. Benefits from the same changes as the normal archers.
    Wretched :
    1. Wretched's movement speed increased from 240 to 280.
    2. Wretched's spell steal replaced with mana steal, which causes each of their attacks to steal 20 mana from the attacked unit.
    3. Wretched's attack damage increased by 4.
    4. Wretched's cost reduced from 19 to 17.
    5. Wretched Priest's Control Magic replaced with Spell Steal.
    Wretched Priests :
    1. Wretched Priest's Anti-magic shell replaced with Excavate Mana : the priest extracts the mana from a corpse to buff an allied unit within 500 range of the corpse giving it 50% attack damage, 10 armor and 20 HP regeneration for 5 seconds. (dispellable)
    2. Wretched Priest's Conjure Health Stone replaced with Mana Wrath Stone that summons a stone that attacks nearby enemy units, it has 350 HP and 0 mana. Costs 175 mana to cast, the stone has the abilities :
      • Mana Steal : Each attack steals 20 mana.The crystal absorbs 20 mana from the target.
      • Discharge : gives 40 bonus damage to the next attack and allows it to do AOE damage. Costs 100 mana.
    Wretched Addicts :
    1. Wretched Addict's Summon Wretched ray replaced with Mana Thirst which increases the attack speed of the target unit by 100%, and causes it to loose 10 HP per second. Units whose HP reaches 0 under Mana Thirst transform into a Wretched for 10 seconds before dying. lasts 10 seconds, can be cast on both allies and enemies. Undispellable.
    Power Crystals :
    1. Power Crystals now also have Power Hunger.
    2. Power Crystals' Replenish Mana and Life replaced with spirit touch and essence of blight.
    Wretched Sorceresses :
    1. Wretched Sorceresses' Mana burst replaced with Siphon Mana (steals from enemies and gives if used to allies)

    4. The Cauldron is mechanical (does not benefit from wise council and brilliance aura)
    Cultists :
    1. Cultist renamed to Acolyte and can now collect lumber.
    Arch Necromancers :
    1. Arch necromancer's twisted wight replaced with Raise Flesh Golem, creates a controllable flesh Golem while the necromancer is channeling, 500 cast range.
    2. Skeletal Frenzy no longer requires Unholy Magic Mastery.
    3. Arch Necromancers' Skeletal Frenzy now shows the exact AOE of the spell when casting it.
    Sludge Belchers :
    1. Sludge Belchers' cost increased from 33 to 36.

    3. Bile Explosion's primary damage reduced from 220 to 150 and partial damage from 100 to 75.

    1. Infernal's HP reduced from 2600 to 2200 and gold cost increased from 50 to 80 (now has large armor, damage type still chaos).
    Infernal Machines :
    1. Infernal machine's movement speed reduced from 200 to 145, collision size increased to 32.
    2. Infernal machine's hit points reduced from 960 to 530 (now has large armor, damage type still chaos)
    Fel Beasts :
    1. Fel beasts' cost increased from 17 to 19. (now has large armor and normal attacks)
    2. Fel beasts' damage reduced by 2.
    Voidwalkers :
    1. Voidwalker's cost reduced from 19 to 18.
    2. Lesser Voidwalkers (that spawn from parasite) have their HP halved.
    Nathrezim Elites :
    1. Nathrezim elites now have the ability "convert" that gives you vision of a non-hero enemy unit and all that unit can see, 1000 cast range, 200 seconds cooldown, 100 mana cost, can affect buildings.
    2. Nathrezim elites' void sight is replaced with "Possess" which sacrifices the unit to give you vision of the target hero for the rest of the game.
    Succubus :
    1. Succubi's mana pool reduced from 450 to 300, and HP reduced by 150 (cancels out with the increase from death infusion, so they still have 600), now have medium armor and chaos attack, Succubi are considered ranged/caster hybrid and are not affected by death infusion.
    Tomb or relics :
    1. Scroll of healing replaced with scroll of regeneration.

    Master's Favors now grants Eredar Sorcerers instead of Void Walkers, 150 mana cost, cooldown increased from 120 to 200.

    The "Summon Eredar Sorcerer" items on the Nathrezim Heroes are replaced with "Open Portal" item which after channeling 30 seconds, opens a portal to the twisting nether from the Dreadlord's current position, as the channeling is happening, the portal is being constructed, if the portal is destroyed the channeling stops. Not available after the burning legion is summoned.
