@ Jae

"Ah yes, the doomsayers. After what had just transpired I'd be inclined to believe you."

@ Angela

Nothing out of the ordinary happens during your prayers.

@ Rose

"Eisenwald, for one."

@ Annie

"I'm going to go and put an end to this. I have three months to slaughter every single cultist before the Septim Gods arrive. If I didn't go, we'd have to send entire armies. But if only I go, then I'm able to unleash my full strength without worriying about hurting any allies."

'That leaves me with two options. Help protect the kingdom in the meantime or, go on a hunt as well. And you know what I'll do. But promise one thing. That you'll come back alive. This Kingdom still needs it's true King.'

"I cannot be defeated by humans, you know this. I will depart now, but in the mean time, I want you to tell Councilor Herman to rule during my absence, he is the best this kingdom's got right now."

He starts to move towards the gates and into the unknown: "I know not when I will return, take care of this kingdom, Annie Hawthorne."

'Farewell...'
Anne takes some moments to reflect, watching the King departs. She does not move and only stare into nothingness

{Jae}

“Wait what? What has transpired...? What exactly are you talking about..?” He scrunches his eyebrows together in confusion.

{Angela}

She rises from her prayers and contemplates them for a moment. Wishing to know a bit more history of the Church and of Titan of Light, as well as the others of course, she looks about the room to see if there is anyone not busy at the moment.

{Rose}

“Ah..well yes of course. I had thought of that myself, but I had thought...well I suppose it doesn’t matter. Perhaps I shall see what’s what there myself. It’s a long trip but..ah well. You know what they say, if you want something done, you should do it yourself. Until next time.” She leaves the library, heading back to pack.

It was now almost time for the afternoon meeting at 5pm. The streets have already been more or less cleaned up from the corpses of those who died on this day and people have come to accept this tragedy and returned to their lives.

But of course, this is an event that would be talked about for months to come.

@ Jae

"You must be blind or deaf, no both. All hell broke loose and you're asking what happened?"

@ Angela

Everyone's doing something. But how busy they are is a question of its own.

Anne chooses to walk back to the Royal Keep to attend the meeting, but making sure she arrives in time.

As you arrive just on time, you find the other councilors already sitting, Victoria has reserved a chair for you next to her. They all seem troubled and clearly notice the lack of Damion's presence.

Lord Lenmond asks you: "Have you seen the king by chance, Annie? We haven't seen him in a while."

With a sad look on her face, Anne nods for yes, followed by proceeding to sit at the table before speaking further, to find her words. 'He has taken the matter in his own hands and went alone to exterminate the cultists before it's too late. He wants to...unleash himself without worry of hurting allies.'

Surprisingly, the councilors seem to be understanding of this decision: "I see, then we must declare one to rule during his absence", says Lady Rebecca. Any takers?"

Anne intrerups Rebecca. 'He, however, gave me one last message.' Anne then takes a look on each of the Councilors, last one being Herman. 'I hope we can all put aside anything we've had against each other and work togheter. He named you, Councilor Herman, believing you are the most fit to do the job.'

"Your honesty is appreciated, Annie Hawthorne. Allow me to be the first to welcome you into the council during Victoria's absence."

Herman offers a surprising smile: "I expect no less than cooperation. With our king gone, we have also lost our most powerful guardian. In the case of a Septim God attack, we would be at a severe disadvantage. I want to hear everyone's proposals on how we can prepare for this... invasion. Would you start, Annie Hawthorne?"

'Thank you, Councilor. We must first reassure the people to not lose hope and despair, otherwise full chaos will overwhelm us. Next thing we should do is...the unthinkable. If ten gens were not able to defeat them, then we must resort to every possible option, even morally grey or dark ones. But, we are not there, and by The King's thoughts, the invasion can still be prevented as it requires actual summoning. Summoning that will take a great deal of cultist sacrifice I'd say.'

Councilor Herman: "I don't believe there to be a summoning needed for a Septim God. But yes, we must restore faith into our people. Luthor, you must have the Church step into the duty of keeping the people calm, we cannot afford to experience a depression within our kingdom when war is upon us."

General Silvia speaks next: "I will immediately begin personally training all of our soldiers. I suggest all of you do the same."

Lord Lendmond: "Take the royal agents, they can help you in training."

Councilor Herman: "Good idea, Lenmond. Now you, Victoria. I know that this is difficult but you have to go to Kargath without change. A war with the other kingdoms would guarantee our demise at the hands of the Septim Gods. We are all counting on you."

Anne just listens and pays attention to what is currently being discussed, without adding anything more for now.

Councilor Herman: "Now then, onto our next topic. I suggest any other doomsayers or black robes daring to show up to be arrested on sight. Arrest first, ask questions later. We cannot afford another attack from inside like that."

General Silvia nods hesitatingly: "V-very well."

Archbishop Luthor: "Just as I posted the notice to get them off our streets, they acted. If only I had realized sooner that they were a threat."

Councilor Victoria seemed rather silent throughout the meeting, perhaps in order to allow you to test yourself in the role.

'Brown robes as well. But they are not allowing themselves to be questioned. I have tried to bring one to question and he sacrificed himself to summon the Demon without question. We cannot afford to give them any chance, since they are relentless fanatics.'

"Indeed. I believe that's everything for today. Unless anyone has any other pressing matters to discuss?", says Councilor Herman.

'One lasst thing. There might be some valuable information on the black market. I believe it's worth having someone check aroud, a trusted Royal Agent maybe.'

Not being able to really calm down after everything that happened, Arashi keeps patrolling the city for cultists.
[Kira]
Although he remains in the city streets incase of another attack, Kira is mostly resting as of now. He can't afford getting too tired since he's leaving for the escort tomorrow.
